Research Participant Recruitment
If you answer yes to any of the above, you are invited to participate in a doctoral research in cancer caregiving using drama techniques and drama performance.
Mending the Broken Heart: An Ethnodrama on the Hong Kong Chinese cancer caregiving experience is a doctoral research project. It focuses on the experience of the Hong Kong Chinese cancer caregiver’s experience. Those who have personal experience with cancer caregiving are invited to contribute their stories and experience to the research. This research project consists of several research activities including interview, focus group discussion, drama workshops and drama performance.
All male and female adults over the age of 18 with personal experience in cancer and cancer caregiving are welcome to participate, including cancer patient, cancer survivor, cancer caregiver (family or friend of cancer patient), professional healthcare worker, social worker, psychologist, counselor, cancer organization worker, or cancer organization volunteer.
